Free Reception counting worksheets: counting to 10 (PDF)
Count pictures to 10, draw the dots, and spot which group has more. For Reception, ages 4 to 5.
What’s in it
Four worksheets on counting to 10, which children should be able to do by the end of Reception. There are two pages of pictures to count, with a box to write how many; a page where your child reads a number and draws that many dots; and a page where they compare two groups and put a ring round the one with more.
Read each instruction aloud and let your child count with a finger on each picture. The pictures are spread out rather than in neat rows, so they really count them one by one. One page at a time is plenty.
