Free 11+ maths facts and formulas cheat sheet (PDF)
The formulas and facts for the maths paper, each with a small drawing: area, volume, angles, shapes, number, averages and measures. For Years 4 to 6, revising for the 11+ maths paper.
What’s in it
The first page is shape and space: the area and perimeter of rectangles, squares, triangles, parallelograms and compound shapes, the volume of a cuboid, the angle facts, the triangle and quadrilateral families, and the names of polygons. The second page is number and measures: square, cube and prime numbers, factors and multiples, BIDMAS, the mean, median, mode and range, metric units, time, speed and the parts of a circle.
It follows the national curriculum for Years 3 to 6 and uses the same words and methods as Rush’s maths guides. The few things that aren’t taught at primary school but come up in some 11+ papers, such as the median, the mode and speed, are marked with a star. Colours show what each part of a drawing is, and every colour has a label as well, so it prints clearly in black and white. Print it back to back and keep it by the desk.
