What’s in it
Every Year 4 child in England takes the multiplication tables check in June: 25 times tables questions on a screen, with 6 seconds for each. These six papers have 25 questions each, from the 2 to 12 times tables, with more from the 6, 7, 8, 9 and 12 times tables because the real check has more of those.
Read the questions out and allow about 6 seconds each, or let your child race through on their own and time the whole paper. There is no pass mark; it’s a check of what they know.
