Free measures and conversions cheat sheet: units, money and time (PDF)
Metric units and the conversion ladder, reading scales, money, imperial units, and everything about time from the calendar to timetables. For Years 2 to 6, and for the measures and time questions in 11+ maths.
What’s in it
The first page covers metric units and how big each one is, converting with a ladder that shows when to multiply and when to divide, mixed units, reading the scale on a jug, a weighing scale and a ruler, money (and why £3.5 is wrong), and the imperial units the curriculum asks for, each marked as an approximation.
The second page is all about time: the units of time, the months and leap years, telling the time, the 12-hour and 24-hour clock, working out how long something takes by counting on, and reading a bus timetable. Every conversion and answer is worked out by code and checked, and every year group comes from the national curriculum.
